Food SafetyThe NFL uncovers food safety issues before they happen, protecting your brands and the consumers who are loyal to them. We view food safety holistically, addressing issues across many scientific disciplines. Our research microbiologists and chemists leverage the latest methodologies and their understanding of food systems and processing to provide data to support risk assessment. Our core capabilities revolve around microbiological and chemical food safety areas such as bacterial pathogens, trace contaminants and package migrants. Combining our capabilities with our understanding of FDA and USDA regulations, and our ability to work with a wide variety of food safety concerns and food applications makes us well-suited to design and execute customized food safety programs and supporting studies.
