Research Microbiology

The NFL’s Research Microbiologists are continually looking for solutions to your food safety concerns, investigating the interaction between bacterial pathogens and foods to determine the risk associated with specific products. They also exploring intervention technologies – such as thermal processes – antimicrobials, new sterilization technologies, and packaging to improve safety and maximize quality of your products.
